TATRA BLP-501 is a semi-auto bullpup type defensive and duty weapon of TATRA with gas-operated system.

It is equipped with polymer frame and polymer adjustable sights on picatinny rail. The steel components of the BLP-501 feature a matte phosphated corrosion resistant finish while the aluminium parts are matte cerakote-plated.

Its 18.5″ (47cm) slug barrel, made of 4140 drilled steel, which is chrome-plated inside, and outside immersed in phosphate offers a great accuracy and precision, while the receiver is machined from 7075-T6 solid aluminium which provides lightness and tremendous robustness even under the most demanding pressure and operating conditions.
